The Pai Lum Tai Chi Group works to advance the time-honored practice of martial arts - combining art, wisdom, and science to enhance health and wellness for our communities.
Our core curriculum is based on the traditional internal Chinese Boxing systems of Tai Chi, Xing Yi, Bagua, & Northern Tung Bei as developed by Great Grandmasters Daniel K Pai, and Hsu Fun Yen, and Grandmaster Robert Skaling-Pai.
Our family style of training is also influenced by Hawaiian Kenpo, Shaolin Kung Fu, and various traditional arts that share alignment, synergy, quality and character.

The main purpose of Members Designation is to inform persons seeking instruction from the Pai Lum Tai Chi Group of a practitioner’s status so they can receive proper guidance on instruction. It also clarifies status and roles for New Member Practitioners who join us as we expand in fulfillment of our mission.
Currently, there are 8 recognized status categories for member practitioners in the Pai Lum Tai Chi Group System. Member Status categories 1-5 apply to all group members, status categories 6-8 apply to martial arts system rank and lineage holders:
1._ACTIVE MEMBERS:
All persons actively receiving instruction from the PLTCG are Active Members! Active Status means they are enrolled in a program, attending classes, supporting a home school, and/or regularly attending seminars, workshops, Master Classes, online classes, virtual events, and other training activities hosted by or in collaboration with the Pai Lum Tai Chi Group.
Those active members who wish to seek rank advancement are required to obtain rank level certification by following the Pai Lum Tai Chi Group curriculum, passing the testing requirements for each level, and remain in good standing with the Pai Lum Tai Chi Group Organization. All Active Member Practitioners follow the moral and ethical codes of conduct that supports enrichment of the martial arts and advancing our mission.
2. PARTICIPANT MEMBERS:
Participant Members are any persons actively receiving instruction from PLTCG through a program only. These Participant Members will have access to PLTCG material associated with the specific program they are registered in. They are welcome and eligible to move into Active Member status after the specific program ends should they seek additional instruction from us.

Should the Program Instructor seek to advance in the PLTCG curriculum and Attainment of the Art ( level 6) is obtained, the Program Instructor will follow level 6 designation requirements.
4. PROGRAM LICENSEE COACH
A PLTCG LICENSEE COACH is a practitioner or Martial Arts School who partners with the PLTCG to teach the levels of Pai Lum Tai Chi Group curriculum and/or programs that they have completed the requirements for and are certified to lead.
